Lothgul is the name the dark elves of the Underdark have given to the god Kulthis, who is said to have captured numerous families of elves and worked many vile experiments upon them. The results of his experiments were uneven at best: from them he created the orcish races, including the Uruk-hai, and the dark elves as well. Chaos dwarves, too, call the dark god Lothgul.
